Earlier this month I posted about Liu Xiaobo the Nobel Prize winner imprisoned in China. To complement and reinforce the issues raised The Casket of Fictional Delights presents Big Fish Little Fish a short story based on ‘The Year 1989’ by Zhu Yufu , original translation by Yu Zhang. Zhu Yufu is also imprisoned in China for ‘inciting subversion’. In my short story I have deliberately made the characters non-specific and universal as I believe the themes examined are sadly not exclusive to China.
