Telling Tales & Taking Tea

It is National Short Story Week this week (7th -13th November 2011), an annual event to raise awareness of the Short Story. This is aimed at getting more people reading Short Stories and writing Short Stories. There is an events page so you can check out to see what is going on in your area. I will be doing my bit. Menna Bonsels and I will be reading Short Stories from well- known writers, Katherine Mansfield, Saki, Audrey Niffeneggerand Alice Walker, as well as some of my own Short Stories – ‘Colours that Suit’ and ‘Ministering’. If you are in the area why not come along – it would be great to meet you.

We will be at St. Mary’s Community Complex, Eltham High Street, London SE9 1BJ.

If you are not able to make it you can always listen to Menna Bonsels reading ‘Colours that Suit’ and ‘Ministering’ online or download them to your iPod as a free podcast.
