Happy Birthday

The Casket of Fictional Delights is one year old today.

On the 11th May 2011 I launched my website to promote short stories and flash fiction. The first short story was My Father’s Head and the first flash fiction The Thief. A year on there are now ten short stories, two by guest writer Leonie Milliner, eleven flash fictions, one by guest writer Maeve Zahra and eleven Storycasts (audios) which are also available as podcasts on iTunes.

Thanks to the wonders of Google Analytics I can see there have been over 3,000 visits to The Casket of Fictional Delights. Visitors come from all over the globe, 294 cities in fact, from Zagreb to Aberdeen, most visitors are from Europe.

I want to say Thank You to everyone who has read a story, listened to a Storycast, read a Thought (post), admired my brooches or made a comment. And to all you spammers who have tried to post ‘nasties’ a big fat ‘NahNahNah’.

I am looking forward to another year, there is lots more planned so keep a look out for the new developments coming soon.

And a final Thank You to Mel Ashby whose patience I know I try frequently but who makes all the clever bits on this website work so well.
